Kathleen Dunphy's Biography

Kathleen Dunphy has been named one of the Top Ten Emerging Artists by American Artist Magazine. Although accomplished in still life and figurative work, Kathleen is most excited about landscape painting. She was juried into the 2001 and 2002 Carmel Art Festival. Kathleen received The Oil Painters of America “Award of Excellence” in 2003. She has taken her art to a new level after receiving a full scholarship (Summer Study grant) at the Academy of Art College in San Francisco. She achieved another long-standing goal by being one of only twelve new artists to be accepted in the renowned California Art Club. Kathleen lives in the picturesque foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in California where there is endless inspiration for her paintings.
