Fernando Ibanez Alcaraz's Biography

In 1969, Fernando Ibanez y Alcaraz was born in Alcoy, a small Spanish town in the province of Alicante. When he was 15, he began his artistic studies under the tutelage of a master teacher and artist who lived in Alcoy. After studying a wide range of disciplines, Alcaraz chose to concentrate in oil painting, while maintaining an active interest in pastels, water color and pencil drawing. The artistic style of his landscapes - the quaint, whitewashed Spanish villages near Valencia - tend to exude more Realism; while his idyllic and serene seascapes have a more Impressionistic flavor to them. Today Alcaraz is recognized for his broad artistic skills, having tirelessly devoted himself to the study of painting for the past twenty-two years. From the inviting charm of his Spanish villages to the tranquility of his beaches at sunset, Alcaraz creates paintings that are full of grace and beauty
